This is Mala’Khi, 6 years old. At only 18 months, medical professionals told his family he had
developmental delays and would never communicate effectively. His mother, Jessica, although devastated, decided to take action and find an institution that would aid her son’s needs and allow him to grow at his own pace. When first enrolled, Mala’Khi was unable to speak and presented challenging behaviors towards caregivers. Today, thanks to the unwavering support provided by Good Child’s teachers and staff, he has moved up to Kindergarten with his peers. Mala’Khi speaks clearly, is kind to classmates and educators alike, and is passionate about music. He is the living proof that our individualized care allows children to develop into their best selves.
