Head Teacher

The head teacher develops and facilitates programs to meet the social, emotional, cognitive and physical
needs of preschool children. She or he creates and maintains a stimulating, safe environment for young
children, supervises staff, and maintains good communication with families. The head teacher is
professionally prepared as an educator of young children in the field of early childhood education or child
development and is a sensitive, mature individual who is able to relate well to children and adults and to
the community in which they live.

Teacher

The teacher is responsible for planning and implementing programs to teach young children while
creating a safe, caring, respectful, and developmentally appropriate environment in the classroom. The
teacher must be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children, especially in the field of early
childhood education or child development and is a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate
well to both children and adults and the community in which they live.

Asst Teacher

The assistant teacher is responsible for assisting the teacher in planning and implementing daily
programs for young children and maintaining a safe, caring, respectful, and developmentally
appropriate environment in the classroom. The assistant teacher must be professionally prepared as a
teacher of young children, especially in the field of early childhood education or child development and
is a sensitive and mature individual who is able to relate well to both children and adults and the
community in which they live.
