Head Teacher Toddlers

Head Teacher for Toddler Classroom – Ages 16 months to 3 years

A toddler head teacher is responsible for planning and implementing lessons to support child development, intellectual growth, and social-emotional learning. Our toddler classrooms require teachers to adapt their routines to the needs of each child, while also making sure they engage in group activities.

Our play-to-learn approach focuses on lessons that incorporate fun hands-on learning, so children get the tangible experience of each subject. Toddlers are strong willed and curious individuals, so their teachers need to be resilient, while remaining calm and creating a peaceful environment.

Responsibilities:
– Classroom management
– Communication with families
– Lesson planning and implementing
– Compliance with policies
– Keeping classroom environment clean
– Incident reporting
– Diapering and potty training

The ideal candidate is:
– Experienced in Early Childhood Education
– Sensitive to children’s needs
– Responsible and attentive
– Creative and flexible
– Kind and assertive
– Resilient and level-headed
– Capable of remaining calm during challenging moments

Requirements:
– Associates Degree or above in Early Childhood Education
– CDA or Head Teacher Certificate
– Significant experience in a childcare setting
– Background check
– Current physical exam (less than 1 year old)
– Work authorization (for non-US-citizens)

 

Assistant Teacher Floater

A floater teacher is responsible for supporting our Lead and Assistant teachers in classrooms during lunch breaks, bathroom breaks, supply runs, vacations, call-outs or other circumstances. 

Our play-to-learn approach focuses on lessons that incorporate fun hands-on learning, so children get the tangible experience of each subject. Toddlers are strong willed and curious individuals, so their teachers need to be resilient, while remaining calm and creating a peaceful environment.

Responsibilities:
– Supporting with classroom management
– Communication with families
– Compliance with policies
– Keeping classroom environment clean
– Diapering and potty training
– Administering Meals

The ideal candidate is:
– Has some experience in childcare
– Sensitive to children’s needs
– Responsible and attentive
– Creative and flexible
– Kind and assertive
– Resilient and level-headed
– Capable of remaining calm during challenging moments

Requirements:
– Experience in childcare
– Background check
– Current physical exam (less than 1 year old)
– Work authorization (for non-US-citizens)

Hours:
– 9am to 6pm with an hour lunch
